Giardino stellato con tre soli

This drawing depicts a celestial garden, filled with large flowers in vibrant shades of azure, purple, and pink, surrounded by green leaves with intertwining stems. The deep blue sky evokes a nocturnal atmosphere, dotted with silver stars. A silver cloud and three radiant suns emerge from the background, creating a striking visual and symbolic contrast.

The composition is characterized by the use of fine and bold lines, with thick black outlines that add depth and a distinct graphic stylization. The contrast between the night sky and the three suns reflects a sense of ambivalence and rule-breaking, recurring themes in my work.

This entirely handmade drawing was created on a canvas prepared with a gesso base. The entire composition was executed using UniPosca markers and enriched with silver leaf applied through the gilding technique. The vast expanse of the sky, on the other hand, was painted with acrylic using a large brush. The colors were applied in multiple layers, achieving a full, uniform, and intense effect, free of transparency.

Every detail has been crafted with the utmost precision. The artwork brings color and light, creating a joyful, dreamlike, yet subversive setting where one can immerse themselves in shimmering stars and the warmth of three suns.
