For this composition, I used a mixed technique. I prepared the background on a high-quality, durable jute canvas: blue-purple fields for the sky, green for the meadow, and yellow-orange for the sun, using acrylic paints applied with a brush. The details – dots and ornamental lines – were drawn with UniPosca markers.
This piece is a welcome to spring and summer. It was born from a deep desire to celebrate light, life, and inner freedom. The sun – a symbol of energy and awareness – meets a floral figure reaching upwards in a gesture of trust and openness.
Through vibrant colors and strong contrasts, I aim to convey a visual ode to living lightly, with our faces turned toward what warms us and makes us bloom. The stylized hills, flowing lines, and graphic details are all part of my visual language.
This work is for those who feel the need for light, color, and energy in their space. For those who want to live like this – with the sun on their face.
The painting is signed on the front.
