Silver moon, enchanted flowers

This original artwork, has been entirely handmade and is in perfect condition.
Created on canvas, it can be framed or mounted on a stretcher.

The technique used is mixed media. The canvas was prepared with a finely sanded gesso base. The sky and the meadow are painted with acrylics applied by brush, while the details—flowers, serpent, and decorative elements—are rendered with vibrant UniPosca markers. The moon and stars shine thanks to the application of silver leaf, carefully worked using the gilding technique.

This artwork invites you to immerse yourself in a fairy-tale world where the rules of the universe are overturned and anything is possible: flowers reach for the sky, while stars descend toward the meadow. These elements are captured in a dynamic transition, as they exchange places.
The deep blue of the night, adorned with points of light and flowing lines, contrasts with the glow of the large moon.

The serpent, a symbol of subversion and disobedience, embodies a playful energy with its vibrant colors. Its presence amplifies the sense of rebellion that permeates the artwork, where each element challenges and redefines its natural role.

The composition is characterized by an interplay of fine and bold lines. Thick black outlines enhance the graphic stylization of the piece.
